CWNP PROGRAM ANNOUNCES WORLDWIDE ACADEMY PROGRAM FOR WIRELESS LAN TECHNOLOGIES

High Schools, Colleges, and Universities Worldwide can now be CWNP Academies

Atlanta, Georgia. - August 24, 2004 - The CWNP Program, the industry standard for wireless LAN training and certification, today announced a global effort to educate high school and college students in wireless LAN technologies. As part of its continuous commitment to developing programs that help train IT professionals, the CWNP Academy Program has been expanded to bring wireless training to all qualified educational institutions worldwide.

The CWNP Academy Program empowers high schools and colleges to train students to design, build, maintain, and secure wireless computer networks. Students are prepared for the industry-standard CWNA certification exam for wireless LAN administration. The CWNP Academy Program, which began in 2002, has more than 150 Academies in the United States, and is now available to high schools, and 2 and 4 year colleges and universities worldwide.

Joining the CWNP Academy program is free to qualifying educational institutions. High schools receive all course material at no cost. Colleges and universities can purchase the same classroom materials used in commercial CWNP classes.
