THE CWNP PROGRAM ANNOUNCES AVAILABILITY OF THE CWAP® OFFICIAL STUDY GUIDE

Third official study guide from the CWNP Program is supported by the five industry leading wireless LAN analysis vendors

Atlanta, GA - October 11, 2004 - The CWNP Program, the industry standard for wireless LAN training and certification, today announced the availability of its third book - the CWAP Official Study Guide (ISBN 0-07-225585-4). The CWAP Study Guide is the first IT publication that focuses solely on wireless LAN analysis. It also is the most comprehensive book available on wireless LAN analysis and troubleshooting, and is a "must have" for every network engineer to properly diagnose wireless LAN performance problems and wireless LAN security breaches.

McGraw-Hill / Osborne will distribute the CWAP Study Guide, in addition to the CWNA and CWSP study guides. The CWAP Study Guide is currently available for purchase at cwnp.com and will be in bookstores and online retailers by October 15.

"We are very proud to have produced another first for the wireless LAN market. The CWAP Study Guide is the only book that offers complete information about the appropriate use of wireless LAN analyzer software products and the entire 802.11 series of standards," said Kevin Sandlin, CEO and co-founder of the CWNP Program. "The CWAP Study Guide is another tool we have created for anyone working in wireless, to help them to design and maintain wireless LANs that are more cost effective, secure, and reliable."
