Global Knowledge Partners with the CWNP® Program to Enhance Vendor-Neutral Wireless LAN Training and Certification Offerings
Cary, N.C. - April 5, 2005 - Global Knowledge, the largest privately-held provider of training and enterprise learning services for information technology (IT) and management professionals, has partnered with the CWNP Program, the industry standard for wireless LAN training and certification. This partnership allows Global Knowledge to offer superior vendor-neutral wireless LAN training and certification preparation for the CWNP family of wireless certifications.
Through this partnership, Global Knowledge offers three courses to prepare students for various levels of CWNP certification:
"This partnership enhances our established product offering and solidifies our position as the premier provider of wireless training," explains Mike Walsh, director of product management, Advanced Networking for Global Knowledge. "By combining Global Knowledge's proprietary labs and content with the official CWNP courseware, we are able to offer our students the best of the best in hands-on wireless training and certification preparation."
CWNP certification is booming. A recent study conducted by CRN Magazine rated CWNA the number three Up-And-Coming Certification predicted to grow fastest in importance over the next 6-12 months. Certification Magazine also recently reported that IT professionals who have achieved the CWSP Wireless LAN Security certification earn higher salaries than any other certification except CCIE.
"The timing for this partnership couldn't be better," explains Kevin Sandlin, CEO and co-founder of the CWNP Program. "The demand for vendor-neutral wireless training and CWNP certification is high and will only continue to grow. Partnering with a proven training leader such as Global Knowledge ensures that this demand will be met with the highest standards of quality."
The Global Knowledge CWNP courses are offered to the public on a frequent basis in a large number of locations across the United States, Canada, and Europe, and are available to corporations for private, on-site training. The Global Knowledge CWNP courses are taught by Certified Wireless Network Trainers (CWNT®) to ensure technical and instructional expertise in wireless technologies, products, and solutions. Global Knowledge employs six CWNTs, more than any other CWNP Learning Partner.
