CWNP Program Announces Wireless# Exam Release
Entry-Level Wireless Technologies Exam Now Available Worldwide
ATLANTA, Georgia, February 1, 2006 - The CWNP Program, the industry standard for wireless LAN training and certification, today announced that its Wireless# (Wireless Sharp) exam (PW0-050) has completed the beta process and is now published and available at all Prometric and VUE locations worldwide. Wireless# is an entry level wireless certification created in response to strong market demand for professionals who are required to be proficient in a variety of basic wireless technologies.

The Wireless# exam covers the skills required by computer technicians, network support technicians, and technical support specialists. The Wireless# exam covers the following wireless technologies as they apply to computer data network connectivity:
Several publishers are developing study guides for the Wireless# certification. Study guides will become available during the first and second quarters of 2006.
Candidates will be able to register for the exam through Thompson Prometric and Pearson VUE using the exam code PW0-050. The price for the exam is $125, the same as other foundation level certifications from Microsoft and Cisco.
