CWNP Program Announces Cutting-Edge Wireless LAN Administration Course

Updated Class Material Sets a New Standard for IT Training

ATLANTA, Georgia, March 27, 2006 - The CWNP Program, the industry standard for wireless LAN training and certification, today announced the CWNA Wireless LAN Administration course has been completely upgraded to revolutionize the learning experience for students. The new course now includes presentation materials with over 200 Flash animations to help students learn faster and retain more of what they learn. The CWNA class is the leading vendor-neutral class for wireless LANs.

"If a picture is worth 1000 words, an animation is worth a million." said Kevin Sandlin, CEO and co-founder of the CWNP Program. "The days of static PowerPoint slides are dead, and students should demand more from trainers considering the investments students are making in training classes. With today's complex IT topics and scenarios, animations allow students to learn much faster and grasp concepts more easily."

Several classes using the new courseware have already been held in the U.S., and feedback from the new format has been overwhelmingly positive, including "the best on the market", "the BEST I've ever seen…the CWNA slides are two levels above the market. The design with simulations, the clearness and specially the contents are excellent!" The new course has also been embraced by many of the wireless industry's leading vendors, including:

AirDefense, AirTight Networks, AirWave, Aruba Networks, Bluesocket, Colubris Networks, Meru Networks, Network Chemistry, Tamosoft, Wildpackets, and Xirrus.

Students can see a preview of the quality and depth of material they will learn in class. A sample of the more than 200 animations that are included in the new course, as well as the new course outline is available online.

CWNP plans to update all of their wireless courses and replace the content with Flash animations, completely raising the bar for the student learning experience. The course to support the new Wireless# certification is scheduled to be released this summer and will also include Flash animated content.
