CWNP Program Announces CWNE Certification Exam Availability

PW0-300, available at all Prometric and VUE testing centers, covers advanced WLAN optimization

ATLANTA, Georgia, January 8, 2007 - ATLANTA, Georgia, January 8, 2007 - The CWNP Program, the industry standard for wireless LAN training and certification, today announced that the CWNE certification exam is now available at all Prometric & VUE testing centers worldwide.

CWNE is a credential that validates a networking professional's knowledge of advanced wireless topics surrounding QoS, Voice over Wi-Fi, and advanced WLAN design. Target candidates for this certification come from a variety of industries and job roles related to wireless networking, and exhibit the highest level of expertise in wireless.

The CWNE exam is intended for individuals with 18-24 months of experience in enterprise class wireless. Individuals who pass the CWNE exam and whose CWNE application is approved will be certified as a CWNE and retain their certification for life.

The CWNE exam is exam #PW0-300. The exam consists of 70 items. The exam candidate will have 180 minutes to complete the exam. The cost of the CWNE exam will be $395.
