Intel and Cisco Recommend CWNP for Wireless Training and Certification

For the IT organization to provide quality support, training is imperative

ATLANTA, Georgia, July 9, 2007 - CWNP, the industry standard for wireless LAN training and certification, today announced a glowing endorsement of CWNP from industry leaders Intel and Cisco.

In a new white paper co-sponsored by Intel and Cisco, two of the largest hardware manufacturers in the world, the two tech giants both recommend training and certification for wireless, and specifically training and certification from CWNP.

"For the IT organization to provide quality support, training is imperative," says Cisco & Intel. "Certification can be made a part of the training program to provide tangible objective milestones and to demonstrate results to management."

Cisco and Intel state "vendor-neutral training (from CWNP) is suggested for organizations desiring technical training that is not vendor-specific or extends beyond the scope of vendor training."

"We're glad to be publicly recognized by Intel and Cisco," says Kevin Sandlin, CEO and co-founder of CWNP. "Cisco employs more people that have earned CWNP certifications than any other company in the world."

Intel goes on to recommend four books that are excellent for training, three of which are CWNP study guides:

  • Wireless# Study Guide, by Tom Carpenter
  • CWNA Study Guide, by David D. Coleman and David. A. Westcott
  • CWAP Study Guide, by Devin Akin
