Abnormally High Retransmission Count
Mr. Parsons has now established that there is a relatively low amount of
traffic on the RF medium, but retransmissions are high.  Since the
CSMA/CA protocol typically leads to retransmissions under a heavy
load, the retransmissions are likely due to RF interference or severe
multipath.  To test this theory, Mr. Parsons uses a spectrum analyzer
and sees the display shown in Figure 13.8.
