1. I just took my first CWNP certification exam, but all I have is my score report. What should I do next?

After you meet the exam requirements for a CWNP Certification, you will receive an email confirmation within 10 business days.

Next you will receive your certificate within 2-3 weeks. Please allow longer for international students.

2. I failed my first attempt at a CWNP exam, so I am studying to take it again. Can I see the questions and answers that I missed on the CWNP exam I took?

No, CWNP does not release exam items in any form, neither questions nor answers. This procedure is standard for high-stakes IT certification exams, and helps maintain the value of the certification.

All CWNP exam items are copyrighted material. To maintain the security and value of our program, we reserve the right to decertify and/or bar from exams any individual who in any way attempts to republish, distribute or disclose our copyrighted certification exam items.

3. How do I review my CWNP certification history and contact information?

You can review your contact information and certification history in the CWNP Tracking System. You can use that site to review/confirm your mailing address and download logos. Your login will be sent to you 5-10 business days after earning a CWNP Certification.

4. I took my CWNP exam yesterday, but I am still not able to log in to the CWNP Tracking System. Why?

It normally takes 5 to 10 business days for your exam results to be transmitted from your testing center to the CWNP Tracking System. Please be patient while this data is en route. If it has been more than two weeks since you took your CWNP exam, and your results are still not available, please contact us. Be sure to include complete information from your Official CWNP Exam Score Report, including your name as it is spelled on the score report, registration ID, testing ID, site ID, etc. This information will help us locate your record and determine the status of your certification.

5. How Can I Challenge an Exam Item?

We appreciate your feedback about the CWNP program and your testing experience. To help protect exam security, we do not provide information about any specific questions, and do not provide copies of exams.

Before any exam is released, each item is reviewed carefully to ensure technical accuracy, clarity, relevance, and absence of ambiguity and bias. The beta exam process further eliminates any questionable items. By the time an exam is released in its live version, each item has been reviewed multiple times.

Specific questions can be challenged, but the outcome of the challenge will not effect your final score. Challenges must be made within 5 days of your exam. You must be able to describe the exam item and specifically explain why you believe the answer was not correct. Requests can be submitted by contacting us.

6. What happens if someone is caught cheating on a CWNP exam?

If a candidate is caught violating testing rules, as explained to all exam candidates at the testing center, the candidate is permanently ineligible for any CWNP certification and loses any CWNP certifications the individual already holds. Proctors at testing centers are authorized to immediately take appropriate measures against candidates who are caught violating testing rules. Examples of violations include using notes brought into the testing center, copying test questions, and looking at the monitors of other test takers.
