Tips for taking a CWNP exam:

• Arrange to arrive at the testing center at least 15 minutes before the exam is scheduled to begin.
• Have two forms of identification for the test center administrator: a photo ID (valid driver's license or other government issued ID), and a major credit card, or a passport. - Both forms of identification must have a signature.
• Books, calculators, laptop computers, or other reference materials are not allowed during the exam.

Test Format

• CWNP exams are delivered on a computer at either a Pearson VUE or Prometric authorized testing center.
• The format of the exam looks very much like other multiple-choice IT certification exams you may have taken.
• On-screen "help" is also available, including information at the bottom of the screen that lets you know how to enter your answer, and how to move forward in the exam.
• Questions may have just one answer, or more than one answer. On the screen each question will state how many answers are expected of that question. Some questions have diagrams that must be used to answer the question.
• The exam does not permit going back and reviewing questions, or marking questions to answer later.
• You may not proceed to the next question prior to answering the current question.
