  • I like a lot of the ubiquiti adapters and almost anything Atheros based both come in USB form factors. However, if you want the most compatibility with OS's you may want to look at Realtek, no seriously. Most vendors will not play nice with all OS's. Realtek is one of the few that encourages drivers from the open source community. If you are going to be using linux this may be especially important as you may get a broadcom chipset to work however you may not have all the "nerd knobs" that you want. Are there any in particular that you are looking at?
