Calculating Fresnel Radius

    I've never used anything to measure tree height, but would a golf distance laser work? At least I think that is what they are.. some type of range finder golfers or hunters etc.

    Maybe using that type of device and some simple math, you could find the distance to the tree and the distance to the top of the tree... well.. you get the idea.

    Thoughts?
