Gearing up for CWSP test

Devinator,

I understand that on Jan 2 the CWSP exam will be updated & I know that this is, of course, needed from time-to-time due to changes in technology. However, I also feel it is necessary to have the 'current' study material to prepare from before taking an exam of this magnitude.

Why has CWNP chosen not to make the new study material available BEFORE the release of the new exam version so it can be used to study from if a candidate needs to take the exam during the first part of January? It seems crazy to present candidates with a new version of an exam when the material on the exam isn't even available to study.
