  • Devinator,

I feel I've found conflicting information and need clarification (Study Guide vs. Practice Exam A).

    QUID: 771
[When the mobile node roams] "the Mobile Node's address does not belong in the current subnet." It also says that the mobile node and the foreign agent communicate at the Data-Link layer.

    Study Guide: pg.323
"When the client roams to a foreign network, the client [notifies the home agent] of its new address on the foreign network".

    Please clarify:
If a mobile node roams from 192.168.x.x to 10.10.x.x what subnet will its address be configured for?

Also please tell me how the FA and mobile node really communicate. It it really at layer 2?

    CWSP...Here I come!

    Thanks,
