? Create, execute and analyze test plans to obtain data needed to validate critical design assumptions of wireless networks. Model RF, network and application performance using standard industry tools.
? Work on complex problems requiring in-depth fault analysis and troubleshooting skills
? Formulate technical action plans for analyzing and resolving problems related to the Aruba deployment, taking charge of complex situations "on the ground"
? Simulate problems in lab to enable developers to debug and fix them rapidly
? Contribute technical content to Aruba?s industry-leading Deployment Guides, application notes, tech tips and best practices
? Participate in solutions for the knowledge base
? Provide technical training cross-training to relevant groups as needed
? Participate in serviceability enhancement requirements
? Work effectively in a team environment, including with colleagues, customers, resellers, QA and development engineers, Aruba technical support, and field sales organizations
    Requirements:
? 5+ years support experience for network infrastructure products and expertise with advanced TCP/IP networking concepts
? Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences ranging from individual contributors to executive-level contacts
? Specific experience supporting and troubleshooting firewall/security, IP routing, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN, Authentication protocols (including RADIUS and LDAP), and Network Management Systems (EMS/NMS)
? Solid experience with packet tracing/sniffing tools, RF site survey tools and RF spectrum analyzers
? Working knowledge of Linux based network servers and test tools FreeRADIUS, Snort, PktGen... preferred
? BSCS/EE or equivalent required (CCIE is a plus)
? RF Engineering and deployment experience with a wide range of antenna types is a plus.
? 100% travel, including some international travel.
    Personality Traits:
? Strong work ethic, ?can-do/will do? attitude
? Must be a flexible self-starter who can ramp up with new technologies quickly and can adapt to a growing and evolving team: Strong self-motivation (this is a startup, not just a job!)
? Imaginative, motivated, and able to work effectively under pressure
? Strong logical and creative problem-solving skills, good oral and written communication skills, and excellent analytical skills
? Must be able to succeed with minimal resources and minimal supervision
? The candidate must be able to travel up to 75% as required by individual engagements.
