    Thanks Gene,

    I was afraid of #2 the most (AP beacons category). I'll have to do some traces to see how edemic it is in our enviroment. Does this make protection a forgone conclusion in the urban wifi jungle? Is turning off 802.11b rates our only way to salvage 802.11g rates from the wasteland of 2.4GHz?
