 I had a problem and was hoping you could look into it for me. I had a wireless router that was backfeeding power to the connected cable modem. The power outlet that it was plugged into was a 3 prong outlet with no ground. The house was old and only had 2 condudtor wireing so the outlet was changed out at some point but not the wireing. Im pretty sure its the internal cuircutry of the router that controls the PoE that malfuntions due to the outlet not being wired correctly but im not sure.
