Hi,
I have a basic doubt regarding FSM State Machine.

What does the AP should do if it receives an authentication request or association request from a station which is already associated ?

This happens only when there is inconsistency between AP and STA.And this can happen when we disable and enable the wireless station adapter.
(Since wireless adapter do not send a de-authentication..)

The options are:

1) We can discard the frame
2) We can send response and do not change the state
3) We can send de-authentication or dis-association and make the states
consistent in AP and STA

Can anybody clarify my doubt...please
