    A Motorola technician advice me to install a new patch for the fusion driver (version 2.57.0.0.022B).
    In the releases notes we can read:

    "SPR 16414 ???¡é?¡é?????¡é?€?? Merged the changes from Fusion 2.55.Telnet session disconnects based on the MC9090 frequently failing to re-authenticate @ roam based on the frequent inability to return the WPA EAPOL counter replay within the 100ms timeout interval."

    Tests with the new version have positive result!

    Cisco AP's can also have this problem.
    Sometime back, they reduced the default EAPOL timeout value in their IOS to 100 ms.
    To counteract this, they added a "WPA TIMEOUT" command to the CLI. So you can now change the timeout to something more reasonable.
    This used to be a hidden command, but it is now well documented.
