    I wholeheartedly agree that the ROI comes from performance improvements on the WLAN. I actually tell our sales people and customers this when they ask why they should buy WIPS. Too many see it as an extra expense which isn't really needed because they see with WPA2 that they get the security they want. Thanks for a great reply, this was just what I was looking for. I was wondering why you see dedicated Air Monitors some vendors use as also being time-slice. I thought time-slicing meant that the AP was part of the time serving clients and the taking a few microseconds out of that to scan for rogues, etc.
    Thanks also for the observations on detection and prevention, pretty much the same thing as what I thought about it.
