  • Hi guys, I am planning to take the cwna exam next month and I really want to get rid of any doughts as soon as possible. The definition and difference of bandwidth and throughput has been hunting me for a while now.
Correct me if I am wrong. Throughput is the actual data being sent without any framing or higher level protocol encapsulation which is roughly half of the data rate.
But what is bandwidth ? Is it the width of the channel ( 20 MHz, 22 Mhz etc ) or is it the same as the data rate ( 1, 2, 5.5, 11, ... 54 Mbs ).
Please when you reply try to be as clear as possible.
    Thanks everyone.
