    You're absolutely right ? enterprise gear isn't strictly the answer to Apple's problem. The Laws of Physics get in the way of anyone solving the WWDC problem.

    What [i]would[/i] have helped: Apple providing a WiFi network for all the attendees so that they wouldn't have to rely on portable hotspots. Of course, [i]that[/i] would require enterprise grade gear.

    There's three good lessons here:

    1. Demos are risky. Especially wireless ones. We now know another senario were wireless can fail.
    2. Conferences need to provide WiFi for the attendees. It makes everyone's life better.
    3. Steve Jobs. Grace under pressure.
