When working with PDA equipment it has become apparent that the wireless realm could use a little more PNP functionality. Often times you run into issues far ranging from needing expansion packs to adapt a CF card. A ROM flash or update to bring the device to a point that it can be used on a wireless network. Sometimes the devices are not able to access the network wireless at all. Often times this is an added expense for IT departments. Expansion packs might reach $100.00 per unit. A ROM flash could be as much as $40.00 per device. Depending on the budget and number of PDAs this could have a serious impact on the choice in equipment. So beware of the PDA features, as it could be more than just a great price
