I have a USR wireless router. The router has a timeout value ,if the xpworkstation stays idle for too long it will the router will disconnect the wireless workstation.

I set the value to "0" per - USRsupport as suggested but the xpworkstation still disconnects from the router.

If I I leave a internet program running and "switch users" insteading of logging off the xpworkstation stays connected as long as the program is running.

If I close the program and come back to pc later I will have to re-establish my connection to the router.

Am I missing something?

Are any of your devices in Power Save Mode? Sounds like the computer is.
