  • Hi,

Since CWNA is a vendor-neutral certification, what hands-on skills are required for passing the test?

I'm quite proficient with Cisco AP CLI. Is there any vendor-specific configuration labs or questions on the test?

    Thanks

The CWNP exams test wireless knowledge, rather than specific knowledge about any vendor's products. For example a question might be about how an access point would be used in a particular scenario, not what the fragmentation dropdown does on screen 2 of the configuration tab for ABC's access point.

  • So, are there any labs on the exams or do they only cover theory?

  • Hi,

Your understanding on RF maths ,security, some of the questions might go to the micro level. If you
study the official book properly ,you can clear CWNA.

If you are a wireless proffessional troubleshooting
problems on a daily basis ,you can pass it.
    All the best.

    Best regards,
