  • Hello all,

I have a question about ISI. On page 175 in the study guide, how do we get the value of 500 ns delay spread for 802.11b? Is it the inverse of the signalling rate?

    Thanks.

    hii friend

I think that this is becoz at low data rates the symbols take more time and so if the delay spread is more even that can be tolerated .

if the reflected signal overlaps with the original it will not result in ISI and as low data rate gives more time so it has more time to compensate.

I m not sure , plz correct me if n wrong.
