  • Hi
I read this part from (Wireless Networks first-step)- Cisco Press

802.15.1?¡é?€?¡± This working group, Task Group 1, defines a wireless PAN standard based on Bluetooth v1.1 specifications, which uses frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) and operates at up to 1 Mbps. The 802.15 group published 802.11.1 in June of 2002, and it is meant to serve as a resource for developers of Bluetooth devices.

I think it should be 802.15.1.
    what do think ?

Oops! Looks like we missed that during our technical review (I was one of the technical editors). I'll submit it as errata since there isn't an errata sheet on CiscoPress.com yet.

    Thanks for finding it!

I was just told by the editor that there will be an errata sheet posted soon and they'll update the book before the next printing.

    Thanks again!
