  • The company I am working in is currently working on finalizing a MultiSSID ADSL WLAN router and everything has been made to allow the best security.

    We can setup different security policies depending on the SSIDs created and we can also map each Virtual SSID to a predefined VLAN (there is also a switch on this router). It works great eventhough we face some problems with cards that may be confused by the fact that they see different SSIDs coming from the same MAC Address.... they associate/disassociate over and over.

    Fortunately we have found a workaround to avoid this kind of problem.
    It is up to the manufacturer to find a solution... the 802.11 standard has never been written to allow Multi SSIDs on one Radio module.
