Hidden SSIDs?

    I think you have the idea now.

    WPA would be your security. Hidding (not broadcasting) the SSID would help keep your network from being seen by the casual observer.

    I would recommend WPA2 (AES encryption) instead of WPA (TKIP/WEP encryption) if your APs are compatible with WPA2. Either one in most cases should, however, be sufficient.
