Usr had a good response, but I just wanted to add an additional point. AP's actually have at least two interfaces, one 802.11 and one 802.3 (Ethernet). That is why is states wireless to wired traffic only uses the 802.11 interface once. It uses 802.11 once and 802.3 once. Hope this clears things up.
