  • OK - now I am a little confused. I had a situation where my client was using Linksys APs and had four of them in the building - going up the floors. There was a lot of problems with people getting out to the Internet and I found that all were using channel 6. After reading an older copy of the CWNA text, I found reference that they needed to be on seperate channels so that the end stations would know which AP they were talking to. When I changed it so that the overlap was in different channels, the connectivity was a lot better. Now we are saying that they need to be on the same channel?
