  • Hi all,

i was going through CWNA V3 where on pg no. 199 the diagram says that the power levels for 802.11a are 50mw,250mw and 1000mw repectively. But in contradiction to it on pg no.304/05 it is said that IEEE and FCC have limited the power levels to 40mw,200mw, and 800mw respectively. I got a little confused as to why the earlier specification in the diagram was mentioned.

    thnx,

    Hardik.

The first numbers refer to FCC restrictions while the second, lower numbers are IEEE restrictions for the US and North America country domains.
