Wireless cards not recognized by laptop

Well, its always the simple stuff that is really difficult.
I have a bent pin in both of my PCMCIA slots. I can see the stab wound on the top of both my wireless cards, right above where the pin should have entered the hole.
Don't even ask how many hours I spent troubleshooting this before I noticed it. Always check the simple stuff first.
