Well, I usually try to add value by paraphrasing the standard(s) in a way the poster can understand (which can be quite difficult since I'm am fairly new to this myself). In this case, it could take me a long time to get it right and if Tom is really curious he can read it a lot faster than I can paraphrase it :) I don't want to delay him from climbing his learning curve.
