    Yes I see your point ---bandwidth is the showstopper in some cases.
    But it doesn't have to be if you let the thick and thin WAPs to handle those users that pay the big bucks for content -capacity and management of the WLAN with the security features of Fort Knox.

    In the high usage areas a quick deployment of a XOW
    (Xirrus on Wheels) . I just made that up....might do the trick.

    Use the mesh as an enticer for more , espescially for those wireless wizards that want the faster than AOL connection.

    I think with MIMO coming on the scene...hopefully vendors are making
    POE capable devices for the enterprise. We will somewhat curb this fear of wireless holes with MESHED MIMO APs. Capacity will be a matter of a couple of WiMAX MIMO enhanced backhauls or DSL/Cable links that provide the ingress to multiple radios.

    Perhaps the users will say...Hey my cell phoneworks indoors now? Why, they migrated to the WIFI network that was hybridly designed.
