I guess if the ISP police don't come to your house knocking, you're good. :-) Doing any of this would naturally violate any ADSL or Cable Modem use policy from your ISP. IF you had a dedicated, business-class service such as a T1, this would likely be within the scope of what you'd be allowed to do.
