Cell overlap

  • Hello guys,

I always had this doubt but never found a good explanation.
When doing a site survey and placing APs with overlapping cells there is always a recommendation in percentage (5%, 15%, 20%, etc). How do I calculate the position of the APs?
    1) Is this percentage related to the distance of an imaginary line between the APs or is it related to the signal strength of the APs?
    2) Let's suppose I am just measuring signal strength, planning a cell border of -75dBm and 20% overlap. If my wifi card gives me -75dBm for AP1 how much should I have for AP2?

I hope you understand my point. X-D

    Thanks

  • They originally imported Hermann Aegler's Swiss movements to England and placed them in quality cases made by Dennison and others. These early wristwatches were then sold to jewellers, who then put their own names on the dial. The earliest watches from the firm of Wilsdorf and Davis are usually marked "W&D" ? inside the caseback only.replica watches uk ,Replica rolex watches,Fake TAG Heuer Replica Watches.
