ACK Frame?

    CF means Contention Free, which is from PCF (Point Coordination Function) mode. PCF mode is dead from an implementation standpoint. No vendor (that I know of) ever came to market with a PCF protocol AP.

    There is a CF+ACK frame that is used in 802.11n, but that may not even get implemented.
