  • Cisco seems to be confident enough in this new protocol to propose new LAP 1142 (802.11n) to be compatible only with 5.2 (CAPWAP) releases.

I'm currently deploying a WLAN network across the WAN (20 Mbps MPLS cloud). The architecture is using Cisco WLC with Firmware version 5.2.178.0. Unfortunately, we ran into some kind of issue with DTLS (TLS layer on top of CAPWAP) that cannot cope with packets arriving out-of-sequence.

I tried this Firmware version in other successful deployments but not across an MPLS WAN network.

Is there someone who also tried it and is there other pitfalls or caveats?
