  • Has anyone had good success capturing wireless N traffic? I am seeing corrupt data packets when RF rates reach over 150MBs. I can fix the RF rate to MSC 11 or below and captures look clean.

Using Omni Peek with a Linksys WUSB600N adaptor. Thanks

  • Are you scanning channels, or do you have it fixed on a channel and it's bonded channel?

  • I am listening on a single channel, 5GHz.

  • That is your issue, if you are listening on 802.11n, you need to also listen in on the bonded channel, as well, otherwise you are not getting the whole conversation.

    Two quick comments:
What driver are you using? Some of the older Ralink drivers for that adapter with WP API are poor.

How many corrupt frames? 802.11n, while faster and generally more resilient to interference, typically increases corrupt frames as compared with a/g.
