  • Hi All,
I am a Wireless QA Engineer in a WLAN company and i am in need of a 2.4GHz/5GHz Noise generator with the benefit of adjustable SNR intensity.
The generator can be either a hardware or a software which can be installed on Windows or Linux systems.
Please lemme know if you have answers .

    Thanking you in advance

  • I got some more information about the 2.4 GHz version of the Airhorn.

It's output power is 50 mW or 17dBm, and is non adjustable.

It generates only DSSS, no OFDM.

There is an RP-SMA connector option.

If I get one, I plan on testing it more rigorously and I let you know what I find.

Ok - I like the tool's  usage and it looks like they have a spectrum analyzer as well.  So now begs the question: How does is compare to Airmagnet's Spectrum Analyzer which I'm probably going to add to my own license very soon.

Thanks for the thought guys - you got me thinking about it.
