The CCNA will be a great asset to your career progression. Its a difficult exam and will add a lot more value than the A+. Also it opens up other Cisco Certs like CCNA Wireless however I think the CWNA is a lot more valuable if you really want to understand wireless as all Cisco exams are Ciesco centric.
