IAS Log = Reason-Code Number 65 = IAS_DIALIN_DISABLED

    Trying to authenticate using Funk Client w/ windows 2003 server IAS and Active Directory.

    Not able to authenticate, IAS logs noted cause for session to be terminated: Reason-Code Number 65 = IAS_DIALIN_DISABLED

    (also using deepsoftware.com IAS log viewer)

    Have done a search on Google and Microsoft knowledgebase, but no luck in finding resolution. Any assistance would be grateful.

    for users and PC ensure dial in access is enabled.
    under Remote Access Permission (Dial-in or VPN) on your ADS (under users profile), select Allow access.
