WEP encryption

    Hi Waverunner:

    The writer meant well.

    802.11 encryption, whether WEP or TKIP or CCMP, protects the layer two payload and parts of the layer two header.

    Layers 1 and 3 through 7 operate no differently with 802.11 encryption on or off.
