This is a link to a FCW article on the DoD toughening Wireless lan security rules.
Someone please give me a definition of "Geo-locate".

The term "Geo-locate" means to be able to find the physical location of a device through some form of location tracking.

Do you know if "it" uses MAC or IP addresses?
This is a new one for me. -
Layer 3 (IP Addresses) and up information is enclosed by layers 1 and 2. Any detection or prevention would need to be done via layers 1 and 2. MAC information is seen in clear text, including any management frames. 802.11w is to provide protection for the management frames when/if it is adopted.
