In order to get the CWSP certification, are you required to take the CWNA first or can you just take and pass the CWSP exam only? The reason I ask is, in the new CWSP book it says that the CWNA is not a prerequisite but I was wondering if the CWNA is required at all for the CWSP certification.

You must pass 2 exams:

PW0-100
PW0-200

You can take the exams in any order.

I guess you could say that the CWNA is a co-requisite for the CWSP :)

what happens in case i take the CWSP and pass and fail the CWNA ?

What happens ?

In that case, no certifications are awarded until you pass pw0-100. Once you pass both exams, you are awarded both certifications.
