    Hii

    Plz help me in understaning the concept of replay counters in RSN capability field.

    what exactly are these used for and when their values changes ?

    Hi,

    As far as I know, Replay counters are used to avoid replay attacks from intruders so that no one can use the frames captured before in a wireless netwrok transmission.

    In other words, frames that were delivered before cannot be used later for replay attacks because of each frame containing a unique sequence number.

    A good description of replay counters can be obtained from CWSP official Study Guide 2nd Edition.
