Has anyone read and would recommend the following book :

CWSP Guide to Wireless Security by Mark Ciampa (Paperback - Aug 18, 2006)

I saw it has the same acronyms of the official guide but it is not official.

any word on it ?

Yes, I have read the book. I am not sure how it will help on the test as I have yet to take the CWSP exam. I feel the book is very well written and very easy to understand. The subject matter almost seems to simple to me which could be an issue come time for the real exam. I am going to attain this cert myself thru reading several books including the Official one.
I have attained many certs over the years and I think the biggest thing one can do to pass is study material from many different sources. Never rely on just one source of info.
