Thanks for the answer. I agree that station could perform 802.1X(EAP) authentication with multiple APs at a time in order to facilitate fast roaming in ESS topology.
But what I understood from the section is that it means open system or shared key authentication which happens before association could take place with multiples APs or stations at a time. And this applies to IBSS as well, and I think there is NO pre-authenitication concept in case of IBSS since pre-authentication needs DS support.
Please correct me in understanding here.
