Yeah, the 10 minute period sounds like a rekeying issue; however, I'd also check to see if this is a problem with WMM Power Save. When WMM-PS is supported, all multicast traffic will be buffered at the AP until the next DTIM. If you require low-latency multicast voice traffic, your frame buffering with WMM-PS can mess things up pretty well.
